About Me
Hello, I’m Lori from Arizona. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Counseling with a focus on substance abuse from GCU in 2018. I am genuinely excited to continue my education and expand my knowledge, especially in ways that will help me better address the many challenges faced by individuals and communities in today’s rapidly changing society.
Over the years, I have observed a significant increase in mental health issues across our nation, which has fueled my desire to be part of the solution. I strongly believe in the importance of focusing on a diverse and inclusive population, which is a core value of GCU. My professional goals include supporting our youth by providing education, resources, and emotional support to prevent substance abuse and suicide. I am passionate about helping families better understand Autism, ADHD, and other mental health conditions, empowering them to support their children effectively.
Additionally, I believe that reconnecting families and strengthening the family unit are essential components of mental health. My mission is to promote a nurturing, loving environment where children can thrive and feel supported. Through my dedication, I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and their families, contributing to a healthier, more understanding society.
